The Making Of A VPoem

We wanted to try this out and where seeking out a poem which does not require a Hollywood style production. “A Dream Within A Dream” seemed to be perfect since it leaves a lot of room for creativity and interpretation.
We asked Alex Abaygar to record his reading. We did not have a sound proof environment that's why we have background noises like car's passing etc. The shooting took place in Long Beach. Carlos Ramsey was the Camera Man and we wrapped it off in about 1 hour. We covered the most what we initially discussed we would need. Like the bird in the sky. The sand and the hand, the water, the couple being happy and the guy by him self in toughts.
The Editing was the harder part because we did NOT get all the shots we wanted and Carlos did not hold the camera steady like DISCUSSED :) But hey that was the challenge. One week editing and here you see the result. No fancy effects or scenes just very basic that's how we wanted it. As you can see it is not rocket science to do a VPoem.
Everybody who has access to any Camera an editing software like Movie Maker (which the most operation systems have integrated already) and an Internet connection. Voilà here is your VPoem. Just Do It! Very helpful tips you can get on the site under the CREATE link! If you think you can't do it than hang in there a bit. We want to achieve a community here where all can collaborate with each other. For instance: If you have written a Poem and someone else is a good film maker and another one has a good voice and records the Poem than you can bring the peaces together and have once again a VPoem.
Just wait and see, with YOUR and otheres help we will make it happen.
My Best wishes. I am looking forward to see your VPoem on www.PoetryVisualized.com
